Hello from the Pond household! I am going to have some fun reading through your wonderful insights. Aside from just saying 'hello', I wanted to leave a response to this post.
It looks like this is a book I would absolutely love to read. I'll have to look into purchasing it. In your summary, I absolutely love the scripture at the end from Colossians. Sometimes, if we are not careful, it can be easy to get caught up in the "world". Which is why it is so important to, as was in your summary, get out of bed and thank God for being a mother, and live the rest of the day until you (general you) go to sleep again rejoicing in the fact that it is part of God's plan that you became a mother. These precious spirits are His gift to us, to raise up righteously in a world that is so far out of whack it will make our heads spin!
I rejoice in the fact I am a mother to 4 beautiful children and that I am blessed to be able to guide them in God's word and teach them the ways of Truth at home. I rejoice in the fact that I am a homemaker, and I feel so blessed that, through His blessings, I am able to stay at home.
From the pics I am assuming your hubby is self employed. Is that right? My hubby is trying to look into self employment opportunities at this time as well. Does your husband have any advice I can share with mine?
